About Us:
Thirteen Years ago The Polish Kitchen was opened in Garfield by Joe and Elizabeth Burak who have always had a passion for their culture and food. They felt that everyone needed a taste of what a real home cooked meal would taste like and what better way then to open up a little restaurant that would serve the finest homemade Polish food in the area.
It has always been a dream of the family's to open a restaurant where people would understand how great the Polish culture is and what it truly is about. We cater all types of occasions from the Traditional Polish Vigil during Christmas to a quick delicious dinner of pierogies, stuffed cabbage and kielbasa.
The restaurant is based on tradition. The tradition of having a home cooked meal on the table whether it be just any old night or a holiday. As the years continue to pass, we plan on making more people come in to taste a piece of heaven!
